As long as it's a cut and paste job, they may as well take some of JEJ's lines from the Vadersessions.
"Don't you Pappa me girl or I'll Pappa you so you'll never forget it. Jesus.".
There are others.

Thinking about it, it sounds like the "no" from the Return of the Jedi line "no, leave them to me - I will deal with them myself"

Is it even JEJ? Sounds more like the bloke from Chad Vader...
Oh don't get me wrong. It's not so much the dislike of what's been done that amuses me. It's the shocked reaction from many fans that Lucas has done it again I find funny :D
We've been pretty cool about the previous changes, with one or two of them being irritating, but to monumentally f**k things up by making a stupid, unnecessary addition to what is the climax of a 14 hour story is just staggering.
Check out the piece on youtube - it's not even done well, taking a couple of audio clips of James Earl Jones from Empire and Sith and sticking them on the soundtrack.

Decided to cancel my pre-order of the US version. With all those insane changes Lucas is making I couldn`t justify myself to paying that kind of money...
I believe they dropped the price to match Tesco, who were offering 15% off of Star Wars merch.
Am I right in thinking that Amazon have removed all the negative reviews of the box set. They have also dropped the price of the set by £10. Hmmm. They must be getting nervous about all the negative feedback now some of the scenes have leaked online, especially the Vader squeal...Had already cancelled my Amazon order and I'm still not buying. Reminds me I must change my username!

We're effing angry that Lucas has chosen to bollox up such a crucial scene, making it every bit as silly as Vader's Simpsons-like "Noooooo!" in Revenge of the Sith (which was probably Lucas' intention, as he is so obssessed about mirroring things).

It always amuses me that people still get suprised and outraged about these things. After thirty years where every release has pretty much done something like this surely the response by now should be resignation :-D

Worse than all of the additions are the transfers for the OT. They've put the bare minimum of effort in and it shows. Really, really lazy stuff.
Forgive me for asking but I have seen other reviewers (who I would consider just as respectable and trustworthy as you and other reviewers on this site) who have praised the transfer of the original trilogy and say all the issues have been fixed. This leaves me a little uncertain as to what to believe because I don't believe either of you to lie or to have been swept away with hype/hysterial/corporate bull. Therefore I'm really confused as to what the transfers are really like. I will definately be waiting until I read several reviews.

I refuse to give George Lucas money for anything Star Wars related. Star Wars has become a joke.
Although I can't wait to see Red Rails.

Noooooooooo!
Does Lucas come home drunk one night and decide to work on his previously complete films?
Well at least they are now of his original vision, and not of his original vision in 1997 or 2004.

It's been confirmed that Lucas has well and truly ballsed up the climactic scene in Return of the Jedi where Vader redeems himself. The clip's leaked onto youtube - it has to be seen to be disbelieved...
If this wasn't the only way to get the Star Wars saga on Blu, we'd tell George where to stick them.

Indeed they do (well Wicket anyway, not sure about the others yet). Luke's saber is still messed up in ANH as well and you can still see the black bin liners on the floor of the space slug.
Ewoks have had digital blinking added to thier eyes in ROTJ.
Yeah, they didn't mimic the movements exactly did they? The puppet's hands move a lot more, whereas the digital Yoda just sort of sits there with his arms in his lap.
Totally agree and have always hated that goofy puppet (other than how it looks in the "you can train the boy" scene at the end) BUT seeing the two scenes side by side there seems to be a whole lot more passion in the performable from rubber Yoda than pixels Yoda and it's a shame they didn't try and replicate that a bit more. Not complaining too much though, that rubber Yoda always looked a bit to young for my liking.

That's been fairly common knowledge ever since the Revenge of the Sith DVD came out. It looks much better than the c**ppy puppet as well, which looked nothing like Yoda did in any of the other films.

Thanx for the info Chris and Tyefighter!
The BBFC confirmed that the uncut version has been submitted to the BBFC for classification.
The actual response to my query is as follows:
Thank you for your enquiry.
An uncut version of ATTACK OF THE CLONES has recently been submitted to the BBFC for classification. As far as I am aware, there are currently no plans to submit an uncut version of INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM. You may wish to contact the work's distributor for information about their products.
Details of our classification decisions are available on our main website - http://www.bbfc.co.uk - using the 'search' function.

I would be surprised if it was given that the entire set now has a 12 rating, which is what Clones would have received had they not removed the Glasgow kiss. It's not showing on the BBFC website as yet, but that's nothing out of the ordinary. It would be costlier for Fox to produce a special version of the set for the UK rather than re-use the same masters for all, although I guess it could be done through seamless branching like Conan the Barbarian was recently.
Does anybody know if that head butt from Episode II is still cut?
