Really bad remake. I expected better from Dylan Walsh.

Already got this one on order. Missed out on it in the cinemas.
Kinda a weird cover art. Surprised they didnt stick with the poster art.
They probably wanted all the 'stars' on it.

Thank God they didn't.

Might pass on that one.
^ That was a BETTER artwork!
Is it sad that the artwork is better than the movie?
Already preordered it from Amazon.

That was the same with Evan Almighty.

This was a very average thriller. Nothing really happened until the last 20 minutes or so, which were actually pretty intense. It's a shame the rest of the movie wasn't nearly as suspenseful. I'll probably get this just for all the Amber Heard bikini goodness.
I hope this has one of those BD-Live functions where you can edit the movie to your own liking. Cause I know what short film I'll be making and neither Dylan Walsh, Sela Ward or Penn Badgley will be starring in it.
I really want to see this, but, def. NOT a blind buy. Also, I think they should've stuck with the theatrical poster as the cover are. Sela's head just looks out of place.
I wonder if the "too friendly" featurette will be about how they cut the balls off of this movie and lost the integrity of the original?
something tells me it wont be though. I did want to see the one chainsaw shot from the trailers but not in the film. Maybe unrated will have it. The ONLY thing better in this than the original is the ending. The originals was a little too familar, other than that this one really sucked
It might be worth checking it out if Amber Heard is consistently nude like in The Informers, but that seems unlikely here, oh well...
Walsh is looking for his career in there. Wonder if he's found it yet.
Holy lord, that is some lazy-arse photoshoppin' right there.
I highly doubt this unrated director's cut will add much violence or Amber Heard nudity. Most unrated editions of previously PG-13 films would probably still get a PG-13 if it was rated. For example: Prom Night, Shutter, and The Grudge.
I am not looking forward to this and do not plan to buy. A rental perhaps, but nothing more.

I wanted to see this, but heard horrible things about it. SKIP!
Hopefully, the Unrated cut at least has the buzzsaw scene shown incessantly in the advertising leading up to the film's release but then conspicuously absent from the film itself.
It was a decent B movie at best. Dylan Walsh was solid, but they really dummed down the movie and violence to fit the teen/young girl audience mainly because of Penn Badgely from Gossip Girl. When I watched this in the theatre, it was mostly occupied by young girls. There are some nice shots of Amber Heard in his bikini and underwear.
Horrible photo shop job on that cover, wow.
This movie is definitely not so bad as people make it out to be. It is a fun edge of your seat thriller. And it delivers in all those aspects to the fullest
Ahhh another remake - will it ever end???
