It's About Time!
Yea! It's about time this was released in it's OAR. Definite Must-buy for me.

Thank God.
The last dvd of this film had absolutely nothing. C'mon there could be a great documentary at least. I can't wait to see what's on this on, but it the same months as the bad news of the Ghostbusters set, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that it's bare bones again.
Hmmm...I've never seen this one either. Well, I've seen the last 10 minutes.
That's almost like seeing the last 10 minutes of The Usual Suspects.
OH MY GOD!!!
I just wet myself...

My thoughts exactly! What took them so long? The previous version was an abomination. I cannot wait. I love every minute of this terrific film. I think I wet my pants too!

Yeah...I was flipping around TV and came across it. Since I had never seen it before I had no context for what was happening. I saw Redford and figured that this was what it was, kept watching and then just as I thought it was good, it ended and everything was revealed. Oh well...

The box art looks awsome! But why is the only featre a 3 part documetary!? I want more! I loved this movie! But what is with all of the classic editions? That is weird. But I a so happy Icould cry!
damnit.. I paid 16 quid for the 1.33:1 R2 a few years ago
sorry, you lucked out. I just rented it
wow, september 6th is gonna be a big day for dvd buyers.
Universal did a beautiful job. I am glad the summer DVD season is light because the fall, especially September, is gonna be a wallet buster!
Wow. Now I have to get that one to replace the one I have.

Sweet artwork.

Looks quite good - good to see the classics getting the release they deserve
More menus added.
Hmmm... I've had the widescreen DVD (which costs here the equivalent of 5 USD) for about a year... I would have to read something about this documentary to decide if it's worth another purchase (certainly not for the suggested price)...
Only once for me...
Greatest movie I ever saw, but I have only managed to sit through it once. I hope Universal makes a legacy series Jurassic Park, too new though.
How sweet would it have been if we got Newman and Redford commentary for this? What a shame.
Still, definitely buying this again.

boring menus and special feature
jeez, for a double dip, they sure didn't put much effort into the special features and menu art. For the menus, they should have used the retro art that was on some of the posters:
and we only get one special feature? that documentary better be DAMN good.
i know it's worth it for the OAR and audio alone, but still.... how about an audio commentary from a film historian, at least (cuz getting Redford and Newman is just dreaming), or how about a deleted scene? maybe a simple "Influences" featurette, on all the movies and "twist" movies it's inspired. honestly, I smell a triple dip... in about a year or two after this one...
