Quicksilver girl... quicksilver girl... quicksilver girl...
A very creepy take on a slasher film. Loved it. Will be buying this one on Blu-Ray for sure.
Saw this TWICE in theaters...one of the scariest movies I have ever seen.
Looks creepy. Can't wait to see it.
OH MY GOD! i've been waiting for this release so much, and i knew they would release it on October... darn...
i saw this like three times i think... lol
i hope they come up with a good art work...

Very meh movie. Might give it another try on Blu tho
AMAZING MOVIE! Saw it 3 times in theaters! The scariest movie ever! This is what true thrills, chills and scares are about it. VERY CREEPY. Staying home alone will never be the same again. Will buy this DVD the very first day it comes out, wish it had more features, but oh well.
I dont know how anyone can watch this over and over with such a junky ending.
Yay! One of the best horror thrillers I've ever seen. Seriously creepy and freakishly terrifying. Great movie. I'd buy it.
:]
:]
well, the ending wasnt the best part, but still, the whole movie was very enjoyable...
I really thought it wasn't scary at all. It just relied on music to scare you. Plus the strangers were just standing there. The only time they 'did' something was the last 5 minutes. More like the dumbest movies I've seen. Although isn't it too early to announce 'The strangers'?
Really enjoyed the movie... disappointed about the extras. I was really hoping it'd get a 2-Disc treatment since it did so well in theaters. (50-some million compared to a 9-mil budget). Meh.
Such an enjoyable horror film. It's so rare these days for a filmmaker to actually try and inject suspense and atmosphere instead of falling back on buckets of gore. I'll take "The Strangers" any day over trash like the "Saw" series or any of the PG-13 atrocities.
I liked The Strangers. Plus I agree I would take this over Saw anyday (the first one bored me and I gave up on it halfway into the film and never came back to it).
I really liked it. Will eventually buy it. It's no INSIDE though. Anyone who thought this was great should check that one out.
I loved this movie! I saw it in theaters three times. I wish it was coming out sooner, October seems so far away. Oh well, at least it's close to Halloween. I hope the artwork is good. I wish there were more special features... I'll be buying this the first day it comes out...
I loved this movie. It was scary and intense. I can't wait to see what's in the unrated cut. I hope the cover isn't red-tinted though, like a lot of unrated releases are now.
I loved this movie & can't wait for the DVD, but I wish there was more to it like an alternate ending and stuff. I run the fanlisting (a site that's there to find out how many fans there are of something) for the movie, so fans come get listed if you'd like to let everyone know that you're a fan! http://fansite.awardspace.com/strangers
Not bad but the similarities to last year's (vastly superior)"Vacancy" were a bit hard to overlook...perhaps that's why this movie was shelved for a year?
Saw it twice in theaters, and loved it both times. It's one of the scariest and most suspenseful movies I've seen in a long time. Can't wait to buy it!
Saw this in the theaters, wasn't overly impressed, might check it out on BD, though, as it'd probably look very decent in HD, with DTS-HD, no less. I loved Glenn Howerton's (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) cameo. I lmao in the theater when Spoiler Glenn got killed, just because somebody shouted out, "Oh my God, they killed Dennis!"
im so anxious to see the art work
it says there, the single disc will include RATED and UNRATED... both in one disc...
so, i hope one single edition with one single art work, would be cool, so i dont have to choose between...

This movie was dreadful. The killers reminded me of "Nightcrawler" from the X-Men franchise. They had the power to instantly teleport away.

Tell me do you think strangers standing around doing nothing I mean nothing is scary. This material would have worked if the strangers 'did' something. Also the ending was total c**p. I'm not spoiling it but I will tell you that the ending comes at the beginning of the film which was a big mistake from the start. Sure 'The strangers' was creepy in some parts but I expected way more from the film. After seeing the spooky trailer and advertisements I was hoping for something... decent. I think the artwork will be 'spooky' because that's how the trailers/ads were and I think it will include a stupid label that says 'UNRATED AND THEATRICAL FILMS'. Then when people read the back of the film they say WTH just 2 extras?

By far the best horror/slasher film of the past couple of years, but that's not saying much...at all.
Good performances, good suspense, and great cinematography. I'll pick it up when it's $9.99 or so.

this looked like a good throwback to the horror/slasher movies of yesteryear.
heard a lot of good things so i'll have to pick it up.

well, i dont think so, cuz at the beggining, we hear the boy saying there was a lot of blood and dead bodies, so we could easily say it could be protagonists, or the antagonists... besides (SPOILER) the stain of blood in the wall that we see, is not from Kristen or James...
but its allright man, it's ur opinion... lol
im just commenting, on urs...

I saw the movie that "The Strangers" was based on & it turned me off from going to see this in theaters . It was eerie, not scary & the whole premise is supposedly based on a true story from 2002. The title is called "Them" but since its a French film its original title is "Ils". Here is a brief synopsis:
Late one night, Lucas and Clémentine encounter strange events in their remote country home. It starts with prank calls and strange noises, but when the power is cut off and their car disappears, the terrified couple is trapped by the unseen force. Is it simply kids from the school where Clémentine teaches, or could it have something to do with a mother and daughter who mysteriously vanished the day before?

NAH, i own 'THEM' and both films are very different from each one...
THE STRANGERS is way scarier, more suspenseful, got the chills, and doesnt involve (SPOLIER) "killer-kids"
i think it's more "realistic"
