was okay watchable stuff. good action scenes, shoot outs, bank robberies. no worse than some horrid Hollywood crud that churns out every month
I couldn't give a shiny s**t about this film. It may be quoted as being the "best British action thriler in years", but it's not even the best British action thriller I've seen today, and it's only 7:40 in the morning. Also, director Nick Love's thuggish far-right wing attitude is a little creepy, to be honest. Outlaw was downright disturbing for all the wrong reasons.
Picture the boardroom meeting on this one:
Suit #1: "Well, we want to use the title and the character names as marketing tools, but it'll be a modern action thriller with nothing to do with the show".
Suit #2: "SOLD!!!"
It's currently at "Blockbuster" exclusive rental only, but with recent news, it looks like this won't be an irritation for too long...

Did strong business in the cinema actually, despite being really quite awful.
Did anyone even watch this? Didn't look particularly good and seemed to go in and out of the cinema pretty quickly.
