Boring plain big head cover art for a decent entertaining remake. Will still be picking this up for my love of the crazy Tony Scott though.

No offense, but why are you commenting about a movie that you don't care about?
Simply I am stating an opinion that I do not like remakes - which this film plainly is.
I did not take offence as you have asked a valid question.
By the way, have you seen this or the original? What did you think?
With Walter Mathau...No I have not.

What is the point of this comment? Did you even see the movie?

Anyone notice that Denzel's glasses are different in the artwork? I thought this movie was good, but not memorable. A good rental and maybe a under $15 purchase later on.
Denzel Washington has been very try lately. This looks bad as well. He was so great, though after Man on Fire he wasn't so great.
I'm so NOT buying this
Why does Travolta clearly have no eyes?
Artwork stinks. Oh and btw...
S-M-I-T-H-S-O-N-I-A-N, what does that spell? Smithsonian. Which title has that name? Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. I want information for that movie NOW!!!!
Also am waiting for "Angels & Demons," but still I want information for "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian."
Will get this film off of Netflix.

Finally saw it today. Fairly disappointed, the film lacked intensity and there was no real suspense. Also the switch between dialogue driven scenes and 'need for speed' scenes didn't help, I'm not really a fan of Tony Scott, but even with his standard, this is fairly poor.
A completely forgettable mess of a movie. Skip it.
Really enjoyed it, loved the original but this was a solid Tony Scott edition.
What's going on with Denzel's shoulder by Travolta in the second promo poster? Rather odd.

JackJackMN wrote: Does anyone go to Denzel Washington movies anymore? He has been in a lot of c**p lately. And the only good thing John Travolta has been in, in the last 10 years was Hair Spray and he was dressed as a woman. lol. When it is 4 for $20 at Blockbuster I may pick it up.
I'm gonna catch this on Thursday. I agree with you, that Denzel hasn't done anything great lately, but really happy for Travolta returning to the big screen, not dressed as a woman of course. This doesn't look great BTW. The trailer is rather lame, bring home half a gallon of milk, I mean what the heck?

Glad they went with that art work.
I'm saving my dough for "Up." I'll probably rent it but still, I am saving my dough for "Up."
No news about the back cover yet ? if there's noted ABC ? ^^
Thanks

I really wanted to love this film, i liked it but it wasnt great. My 2 biggest complaints were the last half getting too familar and travolta not knowing how comical or serious to take the role. I had problems with that

Saw it in the theater. Never saw the original with Walter Matthau, but I ended up really liking this. Denzel and Tony Scott's best collab yet. Guess I'll probably be picking this up, along with Heat on Nov. 3rd.....
My uncle wanted to see this movie, so if he winds up watching it somehow, I'll ask him how it was.
Missed seeing it in theaters. will catch it on DVD.
Great underrated movie. It will include TrueHD not DTS-HD
This remake was pretty good, as typical Hollywood fare goes. Although I didn't enjoy the film enough for me to impulsively buy this. However, a rental is possible. I am a bit disappointed that the extras are just standard, rather than plentiful

First half was good, the rest sucked big time!!!I'll pass.....
Actually a really great film, a pretty damn good remake, will buy.

Hidefdigest says this will have DTS HD track... Any confirmation as to which lossless track will be on the disc? I know Sony usually only use True HD...
Great movie. I'll buy also.
I enjoyed this one. Will be buying.
