Umm what's the point and is this just the same posting as before or is this ANOTHER extended cut? I enjoyed the film enough but I don't need to buy it.

Yeah, this seems to be an odd move from Warner. I don't think there's really a demand for any kind of "ultimate" edition of this movie.
I love this movie. I bought the Blu Ray when it came out. Why would I want to buy this one, too?
Warner sometimes does this, very random indeed. It's sort of like the second release of the hangover that basically just included a cd LOL. They are becoming like Sony, how they used to be. They used to re-release titles like crazy.
I would much rather them have the cajones to do at least a 90 minute documentary on the making of the film, not some wispy and transparent 30 minute 'documentary' that is not going to be comprehensive at all. I know Benny Affleck has been busy shooting The Burial for Tyrese Maalox aka Terrence Malick but 30 mins is so paltry. I have the bare bones DVD of this that I got for $7 when I saw it on a Target endcap and that's all I need. A 90 minute making of doc might have swayed me to get this.
I've heard about an alternate ending that was pretty dark, and I was sad to see it wasn't on the original Blu-ray. I'll be tempted to sell my current copy and pick this one up if the sale price is right.
Great movie, but this is a going overboard for a double dip.
For that kind of money, I at least expect a free nun outfit w/ mask.
The benefit I see in this release is that no one will buy it and then in three/four months time I can pick it up for the cost of the original Blu-Ray.
That and I agree with pitdeadite... where's my nun mask?

Well can anyone tell me is this the same extended cut only with a new ending? I need info!!!!!!!
I am sold, will buy when it comes out.
it has 3 versions of the film, theatrical, the current extended cut, and a new extended cut with alternate ending. http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=7646
