Also, I was quite surprised by this. I was dragged to a midnight showing and I actually had fun.
Might pick it up. It's out on the Monday in the UK.

Get rid of the bottom half of the cover and replace it with the Volturi and it would be a perfect cover. I had to expect the cover would suck though...hopefully Best Buy or Target will have alternate covers. Yes, I'm buying it the day it comes out. These movies are real guilty pleasures for me.
OH DAMN F**KING GOD!!!!! ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME!!!! Everyone's starting to go crazy over Taylor Lautner in hi-def. Gimme a f**king break.
I just find it so amazing that people actually like this garbage.

I can't wait to rent this so I can watch it with the inevitable rifftrax.
I actually like the cover. And, I think the red color scheme of the hoods make it even better.

wow. retarded much? are you really so "blown away" that there are people out there that liked something you didn't? and why are you so angry? there are dozens of bad movies every year, NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO SEE THEM. so grow up, or just go whine somewhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. It was miles better than the first, that's for sure. The acting is still very weak, though, and those two remind me of Christensen and Portman from the SW prequel trilogy. Lautner is a cutie, but he cannot act at all.
I wonder if Target will have an exclusive edition like they did with 'Twilight' complete with alternate cover art. Here's hoping they use the poster art with a shirtless Lautner, lol. I don't care either way, I'm waiting for the full set to be released after the series is complete.
And seriously Pixarfan, spazzing much? Everyone has different tastes, (Lord knows, I have no desire to see a majority of the ones you usually demand to know release dates for). Where these films are over-rated and way too popular for my taste, they are somewhat enjoyable. I'm curious how the rest of this story is going to play out.

I liked this one very much; better than the first. Kinda wish they would've stuck with the poster for the artwork. That poster had an elegantly simple design that really nailed the love triangle thing; this is just... eh. Will admit the red-hooded Vatican people are quite cool on the bottom, though.

I just don't see a whole point in Taylor Lautner's six-pack.
Otherwise, I shouldn't be complaining, though my sisters love the Twilight films, so I'll buy it for them.

I could care less about Twilight, good luck to anyone who finds something of interest in it. What gives me shivers is the thought of having Robert Pattinson replacing Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, or any of these flavour of the month type hotshots. God these damn studios really know how to screw up a perfectly viable film series. Sorry for going off topic but I'm more than a little peed off.
Rant over..........that is all.

my girlfriend took me to the midnight premiere and damnit it was a fun time. not the best movie (nowhere near it), but it was much better than the first, and was actually not bad.
i'm definitely not gonna buy it, but it was a decent movie.

Much more tolerable than the second one -- but this is generously cheesy with a helping of subpar acting and predictable plot twists. It has gorgeous cinematography and a great score, but the acting isn't great. Even Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen didn't make much of an impression.
I am looking forward to what David Slade will bring with for the third movie alongside Bryce Dallas Howard. Maybe he can get good performances from Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner next time.

I was surprised by how much i liked the first one. This one was kinda boring and has the unfortunate task of being a transitional film. It's just there to get us from one point to another. Too slow and drawn out when there really wasnt much going on at all.
Well my sister is going to be stoked for this. Me on the other hand...

How is that any different than Megan Fox in the "Transformers" movies and "Jennifer's Body"? Exactly.

Hey look, Jacob is imitating Chris Pine ala Star trek on the cover! Oh and Twilight sucks but it is fun to make fun of haha
After looking at the cover for about 15 secs I can't help but laugh.
OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. Meh. Pass......
Love K Stew. But I can wait for Welcome to the Rileys...

That's true. Come to think of it. lol :D

The cover isn't the greatest, but I have faith that Target will release another 3-disc special edition with an alternate cover. And its the DVD inside that really matters, so I wouldn't be too worried about the cover. I loved this movie and saw it 4 times in theaters, and can't wait to watch it again. As much as I loathed the book due to all the Jacob-ness, I thought the movie was a huge step up from Twilight in every way possible.

They never really got heavy. She was looking to Jacob for comfort while she was emotionally distraught. If this is your life, extricate yourself and find some different things for yourself. It is highly unlikely it will ever turn out well for you (unless there's a female you just really want as a best friend...?)
[That said, this was an instance where it was not dumb for her to go back]
I'm going to stop talking now and climb out of this hole while I still can :D

Horrible cover. Not as great as the first movie but I'll buy it anyway.
