i'm pretty damn excited to buy this. i felt like it was a better movie than the original, which was tremendously disappointing. And I'm pretty psyched to experience Taylor Lautner's sexiness in blu-ray glory.
i do love the double standard this movie brought out...
all these 30 and 40yr old women drooling over a 17yr old boy and it was okay. but whenever men did(and do) the same to some 17yr old actress, they are pervs or pedophiles.
oh and i was told by a friend today that Blockbuster (least in my city) is actually calling customers who bought the first movie to tell them about this one's release and probably try and get a pre-order out of em....wow. lol

As we say in my family... "I see shadows" all hail MST3K
It's still playing at our theatre, but, I don't think for much longer as it's less time slots. I've already seen it, but, my cousin hasn't, so I'm taking her tomorrow before it goes off the big screen. Loved it, so, I don't mind watching it again. And, even though I said I like the cover art, I think that if they used another instead, I'd much prefer the book's cover art than that of the theatrical poster. Not the first edition book, but, the one with Taylor and Kristen embracing that you see in Wal Mart stores.

Otherwise, I shouldn't be complaining, though my sisters love the Twilight films, so I'll buy it for them.
How is that any different than Megan Fox in the "Transformers" movies and "Jennifer's Body"? Exactly.
"Jennifer's Body" was a DAMN good film that's why.

I enjoyed the first quite a bit. Was definitely disappointed by the second. It's not nearly as enjoyable. Not really planning on picking this up. Maybe one day when the Blu-ray is really cheap I will. MAYBE.
But the first one was slow and boring.....

For anyone that cares, here's a look at the artwork for a deluxe edition DVD and Blu-ray that Target is selling. It's better than the artwork above, FOR SURE:

I can't wait for that either. Their riff on the first film is their best along with any of the Star Wars commentaries they've done.
