Two releases within a year, huh? Didn't see that one coming from Anchor Bay at all.

And the most annoying re-release of the year award goes to...
not surprised considering how rushed the initial release was. they shoulda just waited til now for this version.
Not a big surprise, with the first release so bare boned, this was an obvious lead in to the new season. Time to sell my old one...
Thank god I didn't buy the other one! Most likely I am gonna buy this! Sweet!
Do studios still think Double Dipping is a good plan? That seems so 2005.
i dinna even make through the 1st release yet...annoying doesn't even begin to tally this one...
AMC's handling of this show (as well as their handling of MAD MEN and BREAKING BAD) is cause for concern. them letting Frank Darabont go really bummed me out. i hope AMC's proposed "cutting corners" doesn't ruin this great show.
I'll check out the second season and hope the show's new episodes don't suffer due to all of the behind-the-scene stuff

So does the phrase 'double dipping'.

What assholes! And the cover's better too! Oh well, it's my own fault for already buying it...

Uh, so are we supposed to come up with a new term for it?

I bought the 1st season on BD and right now I don't have an immediate need to upgrade even though the extras in this are enticing, especially the audio commentary tracks. Maybe in 6 months or so when it drops in price. I am looking forward to season 2 this October, even with all the behind the scenes problems.

Yes. It's called "squidging" now, by decree of the Minister of Movie-Related Slang.
