Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep which stars Emily Watson, Bryan Cox, Ben Chaplin, and Alex Etel. The Jay Russell directed fantasy will be available to own from the 8th April, and should retail at around $28.96. The 2-disc special edition will include both anamorphic widescreen and full screen presentations, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include deleted scenes, and six behind the scenes featurettes (Creating Crusoe, Myths and Legends, Setting the Scene, The Characters, The Story, and Water Work: Creating the Water Horse). A Blu-ray release will also be available from the 8th for $38.96. This will include all of the 2-disc features, along with a Water Horse: Virtual Crusoe Game.
