Quote: Iconic horror director WILLIAM CASTLE created a simple, but winning formula for his films: a little comedy, a lot of scares, a preposterous gimmick, and a clear sense that fright films should be fun. This even meant Castle would, like Hitchcock, appear in his trailers and even the movies themselves. Though his career spanned 35 years and included everything from westerns to crime thrillers, he'll always be remembered for his horror films from the late 50s to the mid-60s. And now Sony presents all eight of his Columbia features - three making their DVD debut, the rest newly-remastered - in one "spook-tac-ular" collection. And as a bonus, it includes the award-winning feature-length documentary, SPINE TINGLER! THE WILLIAM CASTLE STORY.

This looks great, I already have HoHH, so the absence isn't a other to me, but I am a huge WC fan. It's a shame Dark Castle sort of went on it's own, I would have loved them to stick to their original "purpose", to update william castle flicks with the help of his daughter (or was it grand daughter? or neice? either way). Their other flicks seem to be a hit or miss with me, but I enjoyed 13 ghosts and HoHH.

Definitely a buy for me! ToySoldier79 really put it in a perfect brief form of what William Castle has done for cinema. Looking forward to this one!
HELL YEAH!! I'm definitely picking this one up, this man brought showmanship and more fun to the movie going experience. "Matinee" was mostly inspired by him. I am a huge William Castle fan.
Bland.
