Haha. I'll watch this because Crispin is the man.
Holy f**king s**t! They remade The Wizard of Gore? What's next? A remake of Suspiria? Oh wait. Hollywood is already planning to remake that. I f**king hate this s**t so much. Getting that out of the way, I'll still look into this because I don't know anything about it, thus I can't judge it yet. Dimension Extreme is one of my favorite distributors, so I'll give it a shot.
This actually doesn't look half bad. I just don't understand the point of remaking a movie if you're sending it straight to DVD. I realize that filmmakers don't always know whether it'll go theatrical during production, but you might as well just retitle it and play it off as a rip-off instead of a remake, since not many people will hear of it anyways.
Haha, i heard about this title through Juno. I'd like to see the old take of this.

Agreed. "Inside" is so deliciously twisted.

INSIDE was absolutely fantastic. But I don't think Dimension Extreme has proven themselves yet.

Willard was a great example of "hey, remember that movie...?" leading to a remake, and "let's put Crispen Glover in it - he's a quirk & kinda' cool" - the end result being rather limp.
"Our hands are bleeding! It's Montag!"
Did Crispen Glover's Montag use a cork-screw to achieve the effect this time around?

Suicide girls?!? Oh, this is a must, their s**t is just excellent.
This was supposed to come out years ago.
I'm curious just because it has Crispin Glover AND Jeff Coombs in it.

Crispin IS the man indeed! I'm still waiting for his directed trilogy to come out, but he said he doesn't want to release them on dvd until all three are completed.

Hahaha, I love Crispin. He takes on projects like this, no matter how bad, because he needs money to finance his own bizarre film making. Also, despite being creepy as hell, he is absurdly nice in person. He even talked to me about the Letterman thing....
Also, Willard isn't that bad. His performance is great and some of the dark humor keeps it alive. Other than that bleh, but its not the atrocity people make it out to be.

"A new vision of the origianl horror classic"
Please, just say remake and move on....

Oh, the Suicide Girls are in this? Awesome. I know that when *I* think of direct-to-video remakes of little-known horror movies, my mind immediately wanders to skanky Goth chicks.
