I liked this movie, but the second time viewing it -- I wanted a shower afterwards. I don't think I'll buy the home video version.

Yep.
Agreed. Without question. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it going in, but it blew every other film from 2013 I'd seen out of the water. The only one that even came close was 'Gravity' imo.

The film could be trimmed quite a bit, but then again, what film couldn't stand to be trimmed nowadays? I loved this movie, even if it was a bit long. The surprise of seeing handsome Jean Dujardin was enough to build goodwill. Ugh he's so hot

Best film of 2013.
I really didn't like this and actually it pains me to think about having to sit through it again. It just went on and on and on.... If you tell me that's the point then all I can say is I GET IT!!!M I got it after 90 minutes. I can't imagine sitting through the 4 hour cut. I know many are bummed that it's not here, but Marty doesn't do directors cuts. Those scenes could've been out as features tho, at least some of them. Marty is usually good at pacing movies (loved casino and the departed and goodfellas) but damn here he never knew when to stop. I wish he'd do another mob movie really. Otherwise, I really don't care to see his next film. These characters drove me nuts after a while. Ugh LOL I'm sorry, but it's such an exhausting film.
I hope they use the artwork shown at Amazon
