"Rich white people struggle with their giant house and product placements and then realize they were happy together all along"
Boom, I just saved you over two hours of your life.
This might be one of the most atrocious films I've seen in a long time. Its characters are loathsome, its premise is far too weak to sustain the length of the narrative, and the emotional throughline is muddied by too many elements. I've enjoyed Apatow films before, but this one just raises my ire like no other comedy film before.

Can't wait! I freaken laughed out loud through out the whole movie, first day purchase for me
Loved this. And, Paul Rudd not funny?!?! Madness!
hahah thats it, joey lauren adams. One click to IMDB coulda helped me but I was lazy earlier. Thanx for reminding me tho. I think joey is the most tolerable of all mentioned
matt86, TOTALLY!!! lol. and you're thinking of Joey Lauren Adams (from CHASING AMY)!! lol. i agree. that baby doll voice is annoying!

Hard to really argue with that. I like Paul Rudd but I think he's better playing off someone(Role Models, I love you man) as a leading man he doesnt have much range. Don't get me started on Leslie Mann. She's annoying as homemade sin. She's got the voice like Renne Zellwiger and jennifer tilly. There's one more acctress that sounds like her but I keep blanking out. I think she was in chasing amy and dazed and confused tho.

I think Apatow is given too much freedom. He's one of the few filmmakers out there who could use some studio interferrence. He's too close to his material. I also find it smug to keep casting his wife and kids in his films. One big problem with this movie too is that IMO it takes the two least interesting characters in knocked up and makes that the whole movie. I mean knocked up had several characters, several I would have liked to see before these two. That was sort of the problem with get him to the greek but jonah hill is usually pretty funny no matter what he does.
That's a pretty terrible piece of cover art. I would've went with the basic one with Rudd and Mann in bed with the kids jumping on the bed.
I don't understand why people didn't like this... It's as good (or even better) than Apatow's other films. And two hours isn't long if you're laughing the entire time (American Reunion on the other hand was the longest 90 minutes of my life)...
awesome, thanks a lot! Looks like the February 12th rumor was right... so excited for that one to hit the shelves!
We have an older news item on Skyfall. I'll try to update it with the new release date.
Didn't catch this in theaters, but it looks entertaining enough to pick up on sale if I find a good price... also, I know this is the wrong page for this, but any official release date/package artwork for "Skyfall" yet? I'd heard it might be released February 12th in the States... dying for that one!
Yeah, once was definitely enough for this movie
TOO much movie, way too long and indulgent. Has its moments but nothing else. I wouldnt want to watch it several times
