Why can't they put all these features on a 2 disc set for dvd

I think one of the requirements for 3D BR releases is that they always include the 2D version as well so should be fine mate... I'm looking forward to seeing it in 3D BR as the 3D cinematic version I saw was very dim and made it hard to see what was going on...
