The DVD release will include the theatrical cut of the movie, plus 3 featurettes ("Total Recall With Insight", "Science Fiction vs. Science Fact", "Designing The Fall"), and a gag reel. The Blu-ray releases will include theatrical and extended cuts of the film, all of the above features, plus commentary with Director Len Wiseman, 7 Total Action features ("Colin Farrell", "The Tripping Den", "Quaid's Bedroom", "Kate Beckinsale", "Lobby Escape", "Jessica Biel", "Quaid vs. Cohaagen"), and 5 Pre-Visualization Sequences ("Apartment Waterfront Chase", "The Fall Fight", "Flight and Tripping Den", "Elevator Chase", "Sequences Car Chase"). The 3-disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo will also include a digital copy.

How does Colin Farrell still get leading roles in big films,when all they do is bomb.Kind of the same way for Jason Statham,his films disappear really quick at the box office as well.

Atleast Total Recall(2012) Had Some SOLID Action Sequences WAY BETTER Than dark knight rises
I actually liked this movie. Just for action. It had no substance, just style. The original had so much story and substance. I still might pick this up on BluRay, but the boxart is one of the worst ever!
The new artwork is slightly better.

the extended cut is 17 minutes longer. The revised art isn't much of an improvement
I'm curious about how long the director's cut is vs the theatrical.

This cover is the same as the final movie poster artwork. The only difference is a variation of Colin Farrell's face in the back ground but everything else is the same.
I hope that's not the final artwork, cus it would be the the worst cover I've ever seen. EVERYTHING is wrong with it.

I really enjoyed this movie. Too bad it pretty much tanked in theatres. Will probably get the Director's Cut BD.

Wait, so is the 'Extended Cut' not also Unrated? or at least rated R? or is it considered a special feature and therefore does not need to be rated? I was hoping some of the gunshhost and knife wounds would have made this film pack a bti more punch, considering that --as stated above-- the girl fight and the final fight were very underwhelming. I really wanted to see Biel and Beckinsale go at it in an uninterrupted block like Stone and Titcon did in the original. Ahh well.

also, i wish that Kate & Jessica had a one on one epic fight. i thought they were going to but what ended up in the movie (which was more of Colin/Jessica vs. Kate) wasn't very epic.
Best part of the movie was the original poster art of Collin Farrell getting pixelled away, which tricked you into expecting a much better movie.
I guess they wanted to be honest about it now, so they went and made the cover art as bad as the movie itself.

I agree about Beckinsale, she made the movie. I woulda preferred the movie be about her character even. The movie was otherwise forgettable. In a dream world she and Biel would make out nonstop for 90 odd minutes, now THAT would be an exteded cut I'd pay money to see.
The fact that it was rated PG-13 was enough for me to stay away. I'll stick with the classic original. "See ya at the pahty, Richter."

this movie was decent. Kate was the best thing about it. i like Biel but her part was totally underdeveloped. this had pretty decent action and i loved the outside destroyed world. it would have been interesting to see more of that. i DO think that elevator thing that takes people from one world(?) level to another level was completely stupid though.
They should have called it "Total Ripoff". Beckinsale was awesome, but the rest...ugh. I had high hopes for this as I love the "Underworld" movies and even liked "Live Free Or Die Hard", but Wiseman really messed this up. I would much rather see the more badass original film anyday. Jessica Biel also seems to be the kiss of death for any film these days.
Complete garage pass this one will end up in the dollar bin at Walmart sooner than later

I wanted to see it, out of curiosity. Then I bought the Blu-ray of the original movie during the opening weekend and I thought "Why bother?".
I might rent it out of my local Redbox but I wouldn't purchase it for indefinite viewing.

I really enjoyed this re-imagining. Great action, it looked amazing. I am looking forward to seeing it again on Blu ray.
