That was just a prototype design. The spine is now a dark blue(different from the Toy Story BD) and features Rex. Regardless, I would still go with the combo pack cuz it's clearly the best buy. Depending on where you go, it's at most 2 dollars more than the standard BD so might as well.

It's really not that great. It's basically a chest with slits for each disc(not the best packaging IMO) the previously released Toy Story BD: a BD, DVD, digital copy(3) Toy Story 2: a BD, DVD, digital copy(3) and Toy Story 3: 2 BD's, DVD, digital copy(4). 10 discs. and that's it. so if you already have the first two, it's a waste. just get whichever Toy Story 3 edition you want and save yourself a lot of money.

Because 3D TV is just a horrible fad....like Pogs, but a lot more expensive.

definitely worth it for the day/night short
Wal-Mart is going to sell the DVD with seven bonus shorts. I'll be picking that up.

If UP got a nomination amongst the 10th Best Films at the Oscars, I don't see why not with this one.

Might have to grab the toy box.

Eh, I'm going to wait for the Blu-ray 3D version which is expected to come out in December. Although it's killing me because this was my second favorite movie of the summer.
Same here. I'm sticking with the 4-Disc.
I like the look of the trilogy pack, but i already bought the 2 individual releases of blu ray/dvd combo packs, certainly wouldnt justify picking up the whole trilogy just for the sake of packaging if no added special features
i'll stick with the toy story 3 BD 4 disc set

NOT one of Pixar's best films. The only good ones they've made are the first 2 Toy Storys, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles. Up, Wall-E, and Cars are just horrible. So's that stupid rat movie they did. Toy Story 3 was so far beyond bad, I couldn't believe. I left the theater depressed. It was what has to be one of the worst endings to a movie that I've ever seen. This has to be the only Disney related movie that I absolutely hate with a passion.

i really want see this movie
I thought the first film was still the best but it was way better than the second. I still see your point Dustin P, that Disney is moving into making the best extras exclusive to Blu-Ray. I still think most of them look the same but Blu-Ray is really the way to experience it.
Anyway, still 4-Disc Blu-Ray for me. I understand why most people want the 2-Disc but the 4-Disc is #1 on my holiday wish list.

fantastic film...the best Toy Story movie yet. Will definately be nominated for Best Picture. 2-Disc Blu-ray for me!!!

As for the single disc DVD, I expected this to happen, Disney is moving into making the best extras exclusive to Blu-ray.

Best Buy is supposed to have a steelbook, hopefully it's coverart is the best and I might just get that but I'm leaning towards the 2 disc edition, hopefully I can use my coupon on it. I have a feeling the steelbook might be that s**tty jumbo c**p.
Blu-Ray buy. Very good film. Best film of the year.
They couldn't match it to the TS1 and 2 releases? They just came out this year!

oooooo, well lets hope its an actual collection coming and not just amazon and their little knack for selling movies series together in a bundle. lol
I doubt they will do that. If they did, it would be an 8 disc collection. This Trilogy Pack seems to add an extra disc to both TS1 and TS2, which I assume are digital copies, which the original TS1 and TS2 Blu-Rays do not have.

I loved this film so much. Grew up with the first two. Also comes out the day before my birthday. Awesome. Will be asking for the 4 disc Blu Ray.
Best Picture? It has a strong chance!
Just bought a 3D television set and wondering why they didn't give this a 3D release on Blu-ray

Thats the first thing I thought when I saw the cover!
Hope the extras hold up for this release.

Excellent film, saw this twice in IMAX 3D. It completely blew me away. Already PO on this at Amazon ages ago.
Only a 1-disk realease for the DVD?
This really was an excellent film. I liked it a lot better than part 2. I dont know if i'd buy it, but i for sure want to see it at least one more time. One of the best movies this summer too, which isnt saying a lot LOL but its still awesome

Haha not sad at all. I got upset that my "Mad Men" season 1 blu-ray has that lame silvery rainbow spine and seasons 2 and 3 both match. I also organize my blu-rays by studio that released them so the spines compliment each other with at least their logos (._.)

I have the same thoughts.
All I need is the blu-ray but I do love the combo packs just in case when it comes to Pixar movies. I do hope maybe Future Shop has some cool Steelbook for me to get even though they never had any for the last two Toy Story movies.
Oh and I might as well say this was one of my favourite movies of 2010.

The two-siders or red spines are more likely the same color red that was used in the spines for the "Cars" DVD than the Blu-Ray for "Toy Story 2." But I still see your point, I'm still getting the 4-Disc Combo anyway.

YES! It comes out one day before my 23rd birthday! I'm telling my parents and two best friends. One of them better run out and buy me the Blu-ray. Don't care which one (though I like the art with the daycare. I already have the 2 disc art hanging in the form of a free poster from the theater)
Don't need the other two right now. Seen em a bunch, including back in theaters last October.

Sweet! Can't wait. 4-Disc Blu-Ray is DEFINITELY MINE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!!
