Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced a Blu-ray release of Trainspotting for September 13th. Retail will be around $19.99. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Danny Boyle, actor Ewan McGregor, producer Andrew MacDonald and screenwriter Andrew Hodge, a “Making of Trainspotting” featurette, a Trainspotting Retrospective, interviews with director Danny Boyle, author Irvine Welsh, producer Andrew MacDonald and screenwriter John Hodge, Cannes Film Festival Interviews, deleted scenes with optional audio commentary, and a gallery. Quote: The film follows the life of Mark Renton (McGregor), a heroin addict who struggles with his addiction.  Renton is able to kick the habit and moves to London, where he finds a job, a flat, and something close to peace of mind.
