Paramount Home Entertainment has sent over artwork for Transformers Animated: Season One for release on the 19th August. The 2-disc package will retail at around $26.99. As far as we know, no extra material will be included - but we'll let you know if that changes. We've attached the artwork below:

Uhhhhh....why does Bumblebee look like a kitty? And why is the puppy named Optimus chasing him? I think he stole his bone...

You know, I had my doubts about this show, but I have found that I actually enjoy it. The animation style does take a bit of getting used to, but the stories are relatively interesting and they often make nods to the original series. Besides, I have no choice but to watch, my son doesn't miss an episode. Even though I have every single one of these episodes on my DVR I guarantee that I will be forced to buy this.

By the way, the cover art is C R A P! I'm sure they can come up with something better than that!
