Paramount Home Entertainment has announced a 3D Blu-ray/2D Blu-ray/DVD Combo release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon which stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson. The disc will be available to own from January 31st for around $39.99. The full details are listed below. Also available from the 31st will be a 7-Disc Limited Collector's Edition Blu-ray Trilogy featuring each film in high definition, Transformers: Dark of the Moon in high definition 3D, more than 10 hours of special features and a plaque of movie images signed by Bay. This will retail at $99.99.

True BUT pirates had all versions come out at once and the regular bluray still had some features, I agree though it's very annoying. The thing the studios are forgetting now is people are sick of 3d and hardly care as much for features as they used to.

lets hope this is the "extra laden" version they promised. but yeah, after Pirates 4 pulled the same thing, it seems the new trend might be to have the 3D version include everything and the 2D be skimpy.

Why, oh why couldn't this have come out before Christmas like it was originally supposed to. Don't want to get regular version only to have to upgrade to 3D a month later. Sucks. Oh well, V-Day gift I guess. LOL
I wasn't too thrilled with this one. I blind-bought it to complete the trilogy on Blu. Upon seeing the coupon for this lodged inside the first edition, it quickly met the trash with an eye roll and irritated sigh.
This was the best of the transformers films but still not great and too long. I've known this release was coming for a while but I don't need it. I actually have the regular bluray from a friend
