the blu-ray is around $40 on amazon.com and i imagine most stores will be around the same if not lower. never consider or trust MSRP's.
This is what the Transformers movies by Paramount should've been. Such an enjoyable show, without all the excess of Michael Bay or Shia LaC**p to muck it up.
Day one purchase for me.
Day one purchase for me.
Seems far-fetched to charge almost twice the DVD amount and have the exact same number of discs for the exact same content...
awesome, i was surprised how much i loved this show. i admit there's a little bias due to peter cullen and frank welker's return to the animated franchise but its a pretty cool show. very good animation though Prime's mouth took a bit of getting used to. lol
and Welker's Megatron sounds great...i'm surprised he didnt get the live action movie job if he was able to do this voice. he pretty much sounds like a combination of his GI Megatron and Hugo Weaving's movie version. i'm guessing Bay just had him do the GI voice and didnt bother having him try others. what a mis-use of the god of animated voices.
anyway that was off topic....this is a great show and i'm definately getting this on day of release. very happy to see its hitting blu-ray as well. since the mini series was dvd only, i feared it would happen here too. i've noticed most kids cartoon that air in HD never come to blu. i have a feeling that "making of" special isn't something new but just the Transformers segment from the special that aired on tv promoting this and the new GI Joe.
