lol at Gabe .Actually i've found in movie forums in general people certainly do not chill out i think they take it all far too seriously. Then again it gave me the laugh of the night reading you guys ripping into each other over Transformers.Oh and the 3rd one sucked .The first hour is a complete borefest and id lost interest.
Late for the party, Gabe. We've all moved on with our lives
Oh my god everybody chill. the. f**k. out.
Maybe I was wrong in my word choice. I simply don't like these movies. I never found them to be good or the least bit enjoyable. I apologize for insulting anyone. That was never my goal. Guess I'll think before I post next time.

Oh, but they sure do. What they meant was that while I don't agree with the tone he used, his opinion by itself hardly deserved the disproportionate vitriol it got from some here, including you.
But as you say, he should be the one defending himself, so what I had to say about this ends here.

I admit I liked the big special effects of the first one... but after that it just got a bit old. It seems anything can instantly explode in these movies with the slightest touch and while fun to see on a big screen years ago it just doesn't hold any interest to me anymore. I think they could have done alot better with the Transformers name in the end, but it's a moneymaker and I am sure it makes hollywood happy. I understand many loved these movies though so I hope they make a nicer looking set for collectors' sakes.

I don't agree with Steve's tone either, and had the opportunity to comment elsewhere here that I thought the first Transformers had some good stuff on it; but gang-raping the guy for speaking his mind seems totally uncalled-for...
The two parts of your statement do not add up. You don't agree with his tone. We shouldn't attack him for "speaking his mind". These two things don't go together in the way you think they do. His articulation of being "sickened" is what bothered me, not that he disliked the movies. I don't care for his wording, not his opinion. The two things are different.
Notice that he hasn't returned to defend his indefensible remarks.

stevepulaski, dude. Is it really that serious?? They're just summer movies, man. Calm down. Take a couple Vicodins. Everybody in the world isn't a hardcore cinemaphile who only watches John Ford, Alfred Hitchcock, Woody Allen, Akira Kurosawa, and Zhang Yimou...
I have seen all 3 in theaters and am not afraid to admit it. However, I didn't enjoy any of them enough to buy them. I do have the first film on DVD but that was gifted to me. These movies are just some summer fun. Go in, turn your brain off for 2.5 hrs. Simple as that.
BTW, that is a horrible cover indeed.
Also, I couldn't help but notice: why is the top most center picture (left of the large image of Bumblebee) different on the Blu-ray and dvd boxes??? Seems very random, unlike these films

Worst films of all time! Worst trilogy of all time! WORST ANYTHING OF ALL TIME!!
C'mon folks...

Now see what you done......... STEVEPULASKI.....Lots of, how you say sickening people having their say , and they are saying they kinda like the film , Now maybe I will have to go and give it a rent. And lets hope next time you dont like a movie you can say it without putting the people down also..
well comingsoon.net also lists the 3D version of Part 3 coming out the same day so maybe thats the edition that'll include all of the extras. sorta like how Pirates 4 only included the extras on the 3D version of their movie.
Hello. It find it sickening that someone could hold such an elitist and snobbish opinion. I think the entire trilogy is a nice, fun, escapist fantasy that entertains me. Does that sicken you? Is there not a way where a fan of "film" can also enjoy "movies"? Yes there is, and I'm fairly sure most people in the film-appreciating world can admit to loving both sides of the film/movie distinction, as fallacious and arbitrary as it is.

Agreed. It insists upon itself. And I've never been able to sit through its entirety.

oh please STFU. you don't like the movies, good for you, but how is it sickening that people like something that you don't? who the f**k are you? goodness. I don't like these movies anymore than you, but there is nothing sickening about people liking something that you don't

so still no news on the "collector's edition" of part 3 that includes actual extras? or will this contain it and it will eventually get an individual release? or maybe its gonna be released the same day and that press release is coming soon.
i already have the first two so this set is pointless for me. as for the "sickening" thing..sheesh, sorry in advance if i come off as a possible ass but take the stick outta your ass already. so people like a movie you think is terrible, its life and happens constantly...everyone has their own tastes. no need or reason to judge or call people names simply because they dont have the same taste in things as you do. i'll never understand that train of thought with many people on the internet. i think movies like the godfather are boring and c**p but i dont and wont insult those who like or love them. I enjoy these movies for what they are: Mindless, loud, plot-stupid action flicks with stellar special effects. I really enjoyed the first two entries, but I wasn't sold on the third one. I own all three in Blu-ray, though.
This trilogy box set, however? That's the ugliest, busiest, most horrendous "art" I've ever seen. A plain black box with the Autobot logo on the front, titles listed on the spine, and the Decepticon logo on the back, all done in silver, would've been gorgeous.

sickening
That is a bit hard on the people. Yes the movies maybe sickening, (Dont own them myself). But to call the people who do like them (for some reason or another) sickening as well is just WRONG.surely each to there own, You dont like them,I dont like them, but there a lots who do.A thats why they keep on making this kind of mindless dribble.
