This one getting a theatrical release had nothing to do with Sony. This was self-distributed by the filmmakers, which allows them to sell the Home Video rights for more.

Thank God for that! Otherwise It'll be a disgrace to the format.

Same here. I had to go kinda far to see it. Worth it though. Not a direct spoof movie, but still pretty funny.
Wasnt inticipating a Blu verision seeing as this movie did very poor.

Same here. It looked like a DTV film based on the effects and no-namers in the trailer. The cover has me invested, but the minute I saw the trailer, the only thing I kept thinking was: "Wow, how horrible this movie looks."
I guarantee the only reason this got a theatrical release at all was because Sony thought the recent vampire craze would potentially make this more profitable.
Fun fact: This movie was the fourth lowest grossing wide release film in the last 27 years.

Same here. Truly a godawful movie, and one of the worst of the decade. I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy to watch.
My theater had this for a few days and pulled it because it had maybe 5 customers its entire run. I feel sorry for those 5 people. I walked in and saw a couple minutes and almost died.
You're bloody quick
Fixed!
Wait, January 27th, 2010? Uhh...
