I may get this...
Quote: I really wish they would have used the rumoured subtitle "The Complete Mystery."
I like that MUCH better! And it makes me wonder if we'll ever have a box set with the series and the film...

Ask the log....
I think the log is too busy watching teenage crackw***es getting sodomized and murdered in a derelict traincar.
Seriously, though, I really wish they would have used the rumoured subtitle "The Complete Mystery." It might have been fake, but it sure sounds helluva lot better than the actual thing they stuck on the box set.

I guess they've ditched the commentaries from the first season set...

I've never heard about this - maybe it'll happen further down the road?
No an artist pursued it however David Lynch rejected it, so most likely there will never be a graphic novel.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Twin Peaks, aside from perhaps some really subtle things...that why it's just bizarre for the most part.

If they haven't revised it in the month and a half since its announcement, I doubt it ever will be. Here's hoping I'm very wrong though.
Waiting patiently for the inevitable box art revision...
i've got both seasons already, but i am a pretty big lynch fan...
i dunno, i might buy it if i find it for a reasonable price. one of my favorite series ever, though there are a handful of pretty awful episodes in the second season.

"What's with the road in the artwork. I'm guessing it relates to the show some how?"
It looks like the carpet in the red room, right?

Me, too! Isn't there supposed to be a 4+ hour cut of it out there somewhere?

A reference to something in the show, spoilers though.
It's one thing I'd change on the cover, doesn't really work...

I wonder which pilot the box sets outside of the UK got? That European cut sounds awful.
All countries outside of the USA got the real pilot episode. The copyright issue with the so-called "European pilot" only prevented the pilot to be included in the US boxed set so far.

Without going into spoilers, the european version of the pilot's differences just occur in the end so it could be set up as a feature film. It's just a tacked on ending that included footage used in later episodes of the actual series and used alot better than seen there.
Oh yes and I find the cover art disgusting, I don't think it would be too horrific had they changed the font...

No HD release, Paramount?
I thought they were getting rid of that awful c**ppy edition title or changing the art :\
Oh well.
Oh well.

Is it wildly different?

I never knew there were two pilots. I presume the UK box set has the European pilot.
I already own the UK Season 1 box set so am getting the Season 2 box set. As far as I can see nothing is new here.

It was only missing from the USA box set. Universal have the UK and Aussie rights and it's always been included.

I was hoping for more with the art but I guess its ok. I like the season 1 & 2 art better. I own those and the pilot seperate and since I'm a huge fan I'll have to get it! Now I'd love to have a special edition of "Fire Walk With Me". Its a shame about the rumored graphic novel to be packed with this cause it'll never happen. I'm hoping this goes for under 70 in stores. Really interested in the show and I always held off because everything wasn't available. This will be perfect. What's with the road in the artwork. I'm guessing it relates to the show some how?
b*****ds. I have no other words. Really, really pissed off about this. *shakes fist*
Weak artwork in my opinion, but atleast this is finally getting released.
Hopefully they'll put out the pilot (both versions) along w/ extras (especially the SNL stuff and coffee commercials) out separately for the REAL fans who bought everything when it first came out.
I have the TV version of the pilot on the Region 0 disc, but the quality isn't nearly as good as the rest of the series.

Ouch, I can feel this ache in my wallet coming on.
