s**t artwork.
I wonder if Phoenix will do a commentary. Haha.
Great movie. I'll definitely pick up the Blu-ray release June 30th.
Joaquin the rap star in a movie!!! Count me in!!!
It's a very good movie and he's very good in it.
This looks good. I may have seen it in the theaters except the movie only got a very limited theatrical release.
Terrible film. The two lead characters were so....."simple". I think they probably should have cast two actors in their early 20's or even younger. Because the dialogue between them were like two undereducated people. Seriously. And so many unbelievable scenes. Paltrow escaping an argument with her "dad" to one floor below in a building both her and Phoenix lived in. Running into Phoenix for the first time. Followed by an extremely stupid and awkward introduction. Then, Phoenix invites her into his apartment to "get away" for a few minutes. Which she does. The stupid dialogue continues. Paltrow sees a few stacks of books in the apartment to which she asks "You're not one of those READERS, are you!?" Ugh. They become instant BFF's from the get go. In a later scene, Paltrow invites Phoenix to go to dinner with her and her older married lover. Begs him actually. To get his take on the situation. Asking him in the next scene, "So, do you think he'll leave his wife for me?". Good cast, but an awful movie.
Looked good.. no blu release?
Loved this movie and I'm looking forward to seeing it again. Great performances all around. I pre-ordered the Blu-ray.
As far as rappers go, Eminem did 8 Mile, Joaquin did Two Lovers. I guess the rappers like doing movies with a number in the title.
Fiddy's stuff in Righteous Kill and Get Rich Or Die Tryin' were terrible, and those rappers in Scary Movie 3, appalling, I can only imagine J-Phoenix to be of a low acting calibre too, I mean, it's not like it's his main talent.
