Terrible artwork. Where's Anna Kendrick? They should have used the terrific theatrical poster.

this is such a good movie. it deserves a couple Oscars, but has such stiff competition that i don't think it will win any.
great movie though.
great movie though.
Wasn't particuarly interested in this one.
One of the better movies that came out last year. Cover art actually doesn't bother me at all.
I hope that cover art gets revised. Looks terrible. Stick with the poster!
One of the rare times I actually enjoyed a film, Proof if ever was needed that Juno was Cody's mis-doing, Reitman was just stuck in the suck of the quality.
I do hope they revise the artwork, Kendrick needs to be on the image, and the poster is rather wonderful, why not use that.

This was the de-facto frontrunner of the Awards Season. Too bad, it loses steam after the Globes, SAG, PGA and DGA (YAY for Bigelow!). It will definitely win Adapted Screenplay on March 7th though. But anyhow, I'm picking this up Day 1 regardless.
One of my favorite films of the year, but theres just one problem. That artwork is so awful
Woah, this comes out two weeks from now. This announcment just came out of nowhere.
One of the best films of the year! I was not expecting it to be so wonderful. It is my #2 after AN EDUCATION. Will buy right away!
HORRIBLE artwork though. It looks like a bad fanmade one. I sure hope that changes.

No way this is the final cover art. Simply no way.
Up in the Air was my favorite movie of 2009.

The best film of 2009, well directed and acted and the script is amazing. Will buy this for sure.

I wish they would do that all the time, yeah it was a surprise but a very good one if you loved every second of "Up In The Air".

Really good flick. Not the best of 2009, but one of the best. Agreed, poster was amazing, this cover is very slack off like. Hmm, let's take one of the promotional photos, slap it on there and we're done. Alright, let's get back to screwing up catalog release covers for the $5 bin at Walmart!
Paramount has a huge history of releasing artwork for promotional purposes and the final artwork is much different. I don't mind the artwork, but yeah to nitpick it I suppose it could be better. The shot of Clooney and the 2 female leads (Anna and Vera) would be a better choice. It's just that studios like upclose pictures of stars in the movie on covers.
I haven't seen this yet, though I am interested. It's still playing at our theater, but, there's so many other things I'd rather see. So, I think I'll just netflix it. And since I haven't seen it, IMO, the best actress Oscar should go to that "Gabby" girl from Precious, and behind her I'd pick Sandra Bullock.
Great film. Awful, awful artwork. Hope it's not final.
Favorite film of 2009, hope there will be another, better artwork.
That is some seriously horrible artwork for a fantastic movie.
I really hope they decide to go with the poster. That CAN NOT be the final art. Regardless, I'll buy this movie, I loved it.
The poster was the reason I became interested in the film in the first place. This DVD artwork is incredibly generic.
Excellent movie. Please revise the artwork to its original poster.
I didn't like a single film last year that had the word "up" in the title. Still, the wife loves this one, so it's a first day buy! I definitely have to add my voice to the chorus decrying the terrible artwork, though. Hopefully that's not the final design!
I loved this film but that cover artwork is bland and tells you nothing. One man standing alone in an airport DOES. Go back to the poster
I just tweeted Jason Reitman imploring him to request that the studio change the covert from this dreck to the poster art. *fingerscrossed*
Geez, is it really that bad? I mean yeah it's a little simple and generic, but I would take this over a poorly photoshopped image of the actors any day (cough Minority Report and Collateral.

Yeah but that would cause the DVD/Blu-ray to be delayed another 2 weeks or so. Paramount probably has these all pressed, boxed and ready to be shipped out by now (around 2 weeks till it's release day). I'd rather have the DVD than complain about the artwork being better.

Nice to see some An Education love around here, it's also my favorite of last year. As for Up in the Air, after completed all 10 BP Nominees this year, it's definitely ranked in the top tier.

I'll buy the blu-ray. I agree, why do studios not use the poster art, it's almost always better.
I did this myself, so you all want a cover like this?

An Education is getting released March 30th, if you hadn't known by now.
