I agree this cover art looks very cheese. The original design is abstract, but classy! I love this film and may just wait for blu ray.
I am assuming the main menu has some animation to it. Just a black screen with white text looks weird!

Eh...they should have used the OOP Collectors Edition cover showing just the poster art. Jimmy looks a bit psycho (no pun intended!) there!

Actually there is. The SE versions have only been available in a box set for some time now.

hahaha... commentary by william friedkin.... way to suck me for the double dip.
Im glad I didnt buy the masterpiece collection, & just bought the ones I like separately, which are Rear Window, Vertigo and Psycho..Even though dipping again doesnt usually excite me and 95% of the time I pass the re-release these 3 movies all appear to be upgrades to their current release, with added features in addition to the same features in the previous releases..the Psycho one looks great with all the collectible cards and such

I agree, the original orange artwork is better. Don't go around changing Saul Bass's original art!
Pretty decent artwork; not quite so good as the one for Rear Window, DEFINITELY not as good as that beautiful Psycho cover.
I'm not digging this art, honestly. I'm happy that this, Psycho and Touch of Evil are finally getting the treatment they deserve on DVD, but this art is just... I don't know, distracting.
It would have been better with just the original theatrical art of Stewart and Novak circling into the abyss.

My favorite too. I will buy this and, eventually, double dip in Blu-ray.

Sweet! My favorite Hitchcock film!
I don't have any of the Hitchcock films yet, but I've waited this long, so I might as well wait a little while longer for the Blu-rays.
I love the film. I wish this was a two disc and not a flipper.

Yup...same deal for me. Bought my Masterpiece about two months ago...no double dip for me.

I love this movie and want it on blu...so I'll wait.

I find it the most different than his other films... Which is why I like it so much. I just have a thing for stories with female doppelgangers, obsessed men and themes of people creating their own private hell.

this needs a blu ray release, no point in another SD disc.
Greedy b*****ds!
couldn't Universal release those special editions with the "Masterpiece Collection"...
and I'm sure it's not like they were newly found bonuses.
Hopefully, which I highly doubt, they'll put out a "Hitchcock / Truffaut Interview" DVD...
that would really make it up to me.
