Oh, yeah I remember this. I watched the MTV version and then went on IMDb, I discovered that they had chopped 40 minutes off the length and inserted dubbed voices of hip hop stars.
Good that this DVD carries both versions.

I saw the original Korean version of this film 2 years ago and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it had absolutely NOTHING to do with hip-hop. I love hip-hop and even though most rappers are fans of martial arts movies, it's no reason to ruin a fairly decent action movie. The lead actor has some espeecially funny moments. Why does America have to ruin good foreign films? WHY?!?!

WTF do a bunch of hip-hop artists have to do with this Korean flick? I sympathise with Americans for the way in which they are are sometimes patronised by the media. MTV must die.
I am strangely curious as to which of these hard rappers portrays Yu Chae-i though

One simple word describes this version of a fun flick - "abomination".

Sigh...
Sad that the voice artists for an awful american dub take up more of the cover space than the actual stars of the movie. Fox should be strung up for treating the film so badly!
one word - scary.
or should that be ew.....

Here's the thing, if they offered it as an ALTERNATE audio track, it might be kinda cute, especially if they had the director's blessing.
I often wonder how much attention studios pay to sites such as ours, and whether the comments of our visitors actually sway their decisions. I hope that they do, and in this case I'm glad to see that everyone is as disgusted with the treatment of the film as I am. Marginalising the original actors and playing up these rap 'stars' is about as disrespectful to the film as one can get.
I wonder how many times Snoop will dub over his character and say "fo'shizzle my nizzle"
dont we all wanna know fo rizzle when this shizzel is on our televizzels
(god forsake fools who buy this trash =X)

Poor Americans.
Buy the Hong Kong Legends dvd version if you can. The people at the bottom of the cover deserve to be slapped. Glad I've never heard of most of them.
Just to be pedantic, the UK disc is actually a Premier Asia release.
That was a deliberate mistake I made to test you.
This movie sucks!!!
I saw both version and the movie sucks!!! I got bored and went zzzZZZZ!!! Next day my friend and I talked about it and we agreed... THE MOVIE SUCKS!!! TRUST ME!!! IT SUCKS!!! What's up with the cover!!! They are not in the movie but their voices are... OVERALL THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!!
don't hate on the rapper's. they are simply the voice talent, and have nothing to do with ruining the voice track. i've heard many dubbed film's that are horrible. Having the rapper's provide their voice's for the dub is fine. And the movie doesn't have anything to do with hip hop.
I think if they left the whole 120 minute film in tact it'd be fine.
Again don't blame the rapper's. Look at how america sluaghtered jackie chan's "The Medallion". They ruined the product, and NO rapper's were involved with that.
Speaking of Jackie, has anyone here seen "Blade of the Rose"?
Want to know if it's worth the effort in searching for.
