8 years are almost over! I don't want to relive it, thanks. Still in pain over the atrocities we have done to the world. In other words: PASS!

Definitely wasn't as good as I expected.
Never saw it in the theater. In spite of the lukewarm reviews it got, I'm still curious about this.....
Saw this in theaters and actually enjoyed it, I think it was a pretty evenhanded approach to the subject. The movie had a very regulated pace and never got "worked up" for lack of a better term.
My friends' opinions were split. Some felt like I did and others, especially two, hated it. I did have to agree looking back that Spoiler the secondary characters are really one-dimensional and Colin Powell, having "reformed," is really portrayed as the noble statesman whereas the others get a harsher, yet probably not undeserved characterization.

A painfully funny look at how someone could ascend to the highest office in the land. Stone just has a great way of presenting a subject and providing the sense of brutal irony that at least makes you think. Some don't want to see this movie for what it is as it's many different aspects are addressed. I personally enjoy Stone's vision because he could have sliced and diced the subject but seemed to have presented in a balanced viewpoint. The subject is public record so any liberties taken were minor but facts are facts and the hearsay can only be addressed by those in the know. So far, they haven't refuted much if any in this film. As always Stone put together a great supporting cast and every performance was indeed something to watch. Unfortunately there are those who will not see the film due to their loyalties and debunk the film based solely on their allegiance and disbelief that the subject or story could be fairly portrayed. The truth hurts.
Soon Crawford will add back to their population and we can begin to rebuild this country back to the status we should have never lost.

Holy s**t, I like Bush and I just saw this out of curiosity to see what they messed up. Stone has lost his game, he has gotten tons of his facts wrong about the last 8 years.
Really liked this one. Brolin did great and Wright does some nice work as Powell.
I liked it.
Wouldn't buy it, but I would say give it a view.

I know everyone hates Bush but Oliver Stone and Josh Brolin are in it so count me in and I won't let any political views affect my judgement before watching it.
I hope this movie is as good as Nixon and they use the movie poster as the dvd cover artwork.

This was a quick announcement.
'Fair and Honest' my FOOT!
When I first heard that Oliver Stone promised this movie would be "fair and honest," I interpreted that as meaning it would throw the Administration up on a slab and take a good cleaver to their reputations.
Nope. Mr. Stone was being fair, alright: complete with trying to portray the Thing in the White House as being just some poor schmo who made some mistakes and eats a lot of sandwiches, but not so much HONEST - if someone from outer space were to watch this movie, they'd not have a clue that this was an eccentric and misleading portrait of the world's leading terrorist.
Me? I think I'll skip this.

I usually don't like political movies or documentaries but with the good reviews I'm keeping my eye on this one.
it would have made so much sense releasing it January 20th
Besides feeling like a high school history lesson, this film was about as boring as one too.
i might check it out.
This movie was a complete mess. Saw this for a birthday party and no one liked it.
i really liked it, im buying it.
I'm by no means a fan of Bush, but I actually really enjoyed this movie...
the cover artwork is terrible.
Not bad artwork. I'll pick this up, since I missed it in the cinema. They should have stuck with the poster artwork, I think.
Artwork is pretty bad.
Oh nice artwork!
Even though I dispise this movie, the artwork rocks.
You know. I'll see this movie again if I'm in the mood just so I can understand more of it.
i agree but...
i want to see the movie so i will be geting it
heard this was actually a sympathetic portrait of Bush. Ill rent it and buy previously viewed if I enjoy it
Don't even think it made it to theatres down under...
I think it hits Aussie theatres either next month or Feb, by which time Dubya would be out office. I still want to see it though.
Well it would have been nice to see this kind of treatment on Clinton. But conservatives are better to pick on I guess.
My politics are my own, but this will be a renter.

I wonder if he'll make a sequel? It would be about a man who duped America and the world into thinking that he was a messiah but was in fact useless.
