Warner Home Video has announced the release of 'app editions' of two of their premium titles, The Dark Knight and Inception. Each app is free and provides users with the first five minutes of the films and a bundle of bonus content. Additionally, users are able to connect to friends through Facebook and Twitter and watch a feed of social networking chatter directly related to the film in real time. Users will be able to purchase full editions of the features for their iPhone, iPod touch and iPad should they so wish.

No thanks on Inception since I hated it, but I wouldn't mind the deal for The Dark Knight, but I don't have an iPad yet.
I don't have an iPod or the like, but if I did have one, I don't think I'd wanna watch these full films on it. Not only is the screen small, but you'd have to hold the device the whole time.
The 'movie brats' are now Blackberrying each other saying how appalled they are that movies can now be bought for iPhones....

Movies on an iPad would work pretty well (iPhone I think not) but these two films are so involving I'd never want to watch them on such small screens.
