Title: Gorillas in the Mist
Starring: Sigourney Weaver
Released: 2nd February
Price: £12.99

Further Details

From acclaimed British director Michael Apted (The World is Not Enough, Enigma) comes this dramatic true account of one brave woman's fight to save the Gorillas of Africa. Whilst studying rare Gorillas in the mountains of Africa anthropologist Diane Fossey's (Sigourney Weaver) interest turns to passion and finally obsession. Not even her lover, Bob Campbell (Bryan Brown), can stop her from risking her life to protect the Gorillas from poachers and animal traders.

The DVD will receive a 1.85:1 Widescreen transfer as well as a Dolby Surround 2.0 soundtrack. Extras on this disc will include a theatrical trailer and featurette (tbc). Gorillas in the mist will be available in shops from 3rd February and should retail for £12.99.

Title: Being There
Starring: Peter Sellers
Released: 10th February
Price: £12.99

Further Details

Isolated all his life in a Washington, DC townhouse, Chance knows only what he's seen on T V. Cast into the world, he stumbles into the inner circle of governmental power brokers (including Melvyn Douglas in his second Oscar -winning role) eager for "sage wisdom." As Chance might say, you'll like to watch.

Specs for this disc are a little disappointing with a 1.85:1 widescreen transfer, being the highlight. Also included will be a Mono 1.0 soundtrack and a theatrical trailer. Being There is released on 10th February and will also retail for £12.99.

Title: Bloodsport
Starring: Jean-Claude Van Damme
Released: 24th February
Price: £12.99

Further Details

In tribute to his Ninja teacher, defence agent Frank Dux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) takes an authorised leave and competes in the Kumioc, a freestyle martial arts Olympiad held secretly every five years in Hong Kong. As the bloody competition commences his colleagues try to stop him from taking part, and Dux finds himself facing formidable opponents both in and out of the brutal Bloodsport arena.... Also stars Forest Whitaker (Panic Room, The Crying Game).

Bloodsport is one of my favourite martial arts films, but sadly it is getting a lame release on region two. You can expect to find a 1.85:1 widescreen transfer and a mono soundtrack. The extras section will only contain a theatrical trailer. Bloodsport will be kicking its way into the shops from 24th February and the retail price will be £12.99.
