So... hold on to your old DVDs with the commentary?
I agree. This is one of the big movies that really got me into the fantasy style of movie. Because of this, I got into Dragonslayer, Legend (before I knew how useless Tom Cruise is), and all sorts of movies that I probably wouldn't have given a second, or even first, look.
Pass!? I've been waiting so long for this to come out on Blu! I guess because it was something I grew up with, but really? This is an excellent movie.
I don't get how anyone could pass on this classic fantasy movie. I loved it when I was a kid. The only thing I don't like is the horrible, photoshopped cover. The movie poster would have been best.
Looks like I'm in the minority on this one. It's a definite buy. This & Who Framed Roger Rabbit, on the same day. That's 2 early birthday presents in the same week.
Double pass on this one
