Warner Home Video has announced a Blu-ray release of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory which stars Gene Wilder, Aubrey Woods, and Jack Albertson. The disc will be available to own from the 20th October, and should retail at around $34.99. Extras will include commentary with the Wonka Kids, 4 Scrumptious Sing-Along Songs, a Pure Imagination: The Story of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory documentary, a Tasty Vintage featurette, and the theatrical trailer. A 38-page digibook will also be included.

I always thought it was funny that this one was called Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, but was more focused on the character of Charlie and the one Tim Burton did is called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but seems more focused on the character of Willy Wonka.

The cover on this is kinda boring ... seems like they could've done something cooler with it.
