yeah, the cover for the 2D sucks big time (no offense to Mr. Pitt, who i do like for the most part). that being said i really enjoyed this movie. i wasn't a huge fan of the book so i didn't have book to movie expectations ("WHY ISN'T THIS LIKE THE BOOK?" etc, etc).
tbh, this seemed more like the 3rd entry in the 28 DAYS/WEEKS LATER movies (i worship both those movies) rather than a more traditional-ish zombie/infection movie. i DO love how they have the zombies behave like swarming ants!
i was also kinda surprised that i found the re-written Lindelof ending to be pretty good. i liked that it got smaller/more horror-ish/quieter than the first & second half's of the movie. i hope we will some day get to see the original ending (the Russia humans VS. zombies fighting that we saw very brief flashes of at the end of the movie during Gerry's ending narration).

Isn't he in a helicopter on the posters?
As for the 2D cover, it's just the fact that he's carrying a giant gun that, you know, he doesn't use in the movie at all.

They're at least better than any of the marketing posters with Pitt overlooking a destroyed city from the tallest building on planet Earth.

I agree. Brad Pitt looks a little photoshopped on the cover. The 3D cover should've been the 2D cover.

I like the 3D cover, but I could do without Pitt on the spine.
Terrible 2D cover.
