Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($26.98) and Blu-ray ($34.98) releases of World's Greatest Dad which stars Robin Williams, Alexie Gilmore, and Daryl Sabara. Each will be available to own from the 8th December. Extras will include an audio commentary, a behind the scenes featurette, a HDNet: A Look At World's Greatest Dad featurette, deleted scenes, outtakes, and a music video. I have heard some really great things about this movie. Will definitely be renting it.
Was this in theaters???
I admire Robin Williams, but this must have got some c**ppy promotion because I didn't know this was ever in theaters or even made. So I will rent for sure!
Lots of critical exclaim for a movie I've never hear of.
In the Loop and this one were two of the biggest surprises this year when it came to comedies. No Williams fan but he's fantastic in this, best role since Insomnia. Highly recommended if you have a taste for black comedy.
DARK comedy. Williams at his best.
I'm interested - I definitely plan to check this out at some point. Really like Robin Williams when he makes good film decisions, and the quotes on this box are promising!
Another movie hitting on my birthday! Awesome movie and pretty fast release. Saw this twice in theaters.
I've also heard it's pretty damn good although the one who told me how great it was also spoiled most of the movie for me. I'll still check it out though.
