A little extreme I know, but seriously... this is moronic. This is for that old lady who spilled coffee on herself and sued McDonald's because she didn't know it was hot. And for those jury members who told McDonald's to pay her.

I've added some revised packshots which make things a little clearer!
Do they charge extra for the wrapping paper editions?
lol @ fedora print
Holy Pointless C**p, Batman!!
I can't decide if that's lamest idea I've ever heard or the most brilliant...
Being a parent myself, I can say that I have stayed up til 4 and 5am wrapping a seemingly endless amount of presents for my kids - only to see the lovingly wrapped gift ripped to shreds in 5 seconds then set aside as they move on to the next one.
That being said, one pre-wrapped gift isn't going to save me a lot of time/effort. Therefore, I have determined this idea to be lame.

Interesting.
Cool idea, but are people getting so lazy that they can't just wrap em' themselves?
Just another pointless re wrap of a DVD to take up shelve space when other DVD's don't get released or a proper release. I hate when retailers, I work for the big bulls eye and we have to make shelve space for this c**p and loose a spot for another DVD.
Yes, it is a nice idea, that for most of us, won't work because we already own the movies...but the wrappers look cool and the peel stickers are awesome...
They're actually very nice gift boxes.
Oh come on, I think it's cute. I wouldn't get it, but for a young movie fan in their teens, this could be cool.
Nothing like knowing what you're getting before you open it. Great idea!
Nice wrapping paper and peel off graphics. Just another angle to sell the goods. Some suckers will buy it and some Jr movie fans will be stoked.
Capitalism has no shame.
Capitalism has no shame.
i guess its a cute idea but chances are the person you'd be buying this for is a big fan of those movies, so why not spring the extra 3 or 4 dollars and get the the proper 2disc edition? in the case of Kung Fu Panda its a real deal since you get that Furious Five movie as well.
LOL at Paramount, silly idea and kind of insulting to Americans. They think people in this country are that lazy that they have to buy the one with the wrapping on it. Give me a break.

Is that a good "wow" or a bad "wow"? I'm thinking it's the latter...

"Are you a deadbeat parent who shops over the internet? Does that personal touch seem too much like hard work? Want to give little Timmy a suprise on Christmas Day that will suprise you too - because you couldn't give a rat's ar*e and have forgotten ordering it? Why not express both your love and general "meh" to your loved ones by ordering a pre-wrapped DVD?"
Bl**dy Hell. This is a depressing development in post-modern society.

B*****ks - you beat me to it!

Huh? This is utterly pointless...
You can see that the image part is peeled off, though, Tom is right.

they say...remove and give. which means the only surprise is figuring out what the hat wrapping paper means...or the iron man logo means..or the kung fu panda prints.
I imagine that front bit peels off
these don't exactly scream "surprise"!...
