Quote: Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson star once again as gods at war in “Wrath of the Titans”, under the direction of Johnathan Liebesman.
A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kaken, Perseus (Worthington) the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson) is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius.
Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.
Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramrez), switch loyalties and make a deal, with kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth.
Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen gob Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

1st was average at best. the 2nd got even worse reviews. a pass unless the 3D combo comes down in price within the years.
The first one was, as expected, awful, but I was at least expecting the action to be good--alas, it wasn't. Hopefully, the action in this one is better. Regardless, I'm going to wait for it to hit HBO before seeing it.
I really liked the first movie but this one was really lame.
Worst beards ever.
this movie was just ok. not bad but not great. the 1st movie was a trillion times better.
Will wait until they pump up the long-rumored and over-due director's cut of the first movie and/or longer cuts of both films and/or a huge package with both films, longer cuts and much more extensive features. Yeah, I'm a feature freak if you hadn't noticed, so I may whine a bit about 95% of the upcoming editions of all movies.
Not interested in the film, but I'm digging the cover art for the Blu-ray. Nice.
I'll buy this one for sure
yeah, didnt this come out in early april? thats a damn fast release especially considering it did pretty well. oh well, i really liked it so i can own it sooner than i thought...fun. lol
This is so much better than the first film! I absolutely loved this. It came really close to being my ultimate dream movie dealing with greek mythology. If you have a 3D setup this is an absolute must! Saw it in 3D at my local movie theater and this has some of the best 3D scenes ever. (IMO)
Just me or was this in and out of theaters in a heartbeat? I sort of enjoyed the first movie.
