The first two were legitimately good horror films. The latter two were terrible, but in the best way possible. Can't wait.
Agree totally with you Taylor.
Interesting note about the "Engaging 6 month pre-awareness campaign"...

I thought the first two were really good. The third not so much. The fourth was alright, but the main characters were idiots. Will still rent this one and hope for the best.

The main characters and many customers are thinking the exact same thing as we speak: God, will it ever end?
LOL they're still making these? The first film was good but i didnt bother with the others. I mean afte multiple wrong turns you're just a dumbass
My problem with Part 2 is the climax with Henry Rollins' character and the hillbillies were nonexistent. You were lead to believe this kicka$$ fight would happen - nope, I does not.
At least with Part 3 you got that. The gangbanger/gangster leader fighting the big inbred. That's what I wanted to see.
Anyhow, yeah me too Pitdeadite, I'll pick this up on release day.

Bouncy X i agree! i LOVE the first movie very much. i love the serious (and well done!) tone it and i love the cast. part 2 was decent but not great. part 3 & 4 (directed by the same guy as well as part 5) are abominations.
The fourth one was miles better than the third so I hold out some hope that this could be entertaining. The premise is decent, at least.
I only liked the second film.
considering how terrible and cheap 3 and 4 were, i'm surprised they sold/rented enough to warrant any sequel beyond the third. i'll give them credit with 4 that they eased up on the terribly lame CGI gore but it was still there which is just wrong. CGI can do a lot of things but gore isn't one of em...time to stop.
but the gore aside, they were just terrible movies all on their own as well. i bought that trilogy pack that came out with 3's release. i hadn't seen 3 yet but i really like the first two so it was worth it. but damn was that movie bad, when 4 came out i just rented it and yeah...just as bad. i'm sucker for sequels to these sorta movies so i'll probably rent this or catch it on netflix but i dont hold out any hope.
