As for the DVD features, the DVD section at Fox Connect mentions that "Children of the Atom" will be included. If that 8-part documentary is pretty in-depth, I wouldn't mind that being the only bonus feature.
But having the theatrical trailer and a commentary by Jane Goldman & Matthew Vaughn would be better...

Sad I missed this in the theater, but I guess Sept. 9th is not that long of a wait...

sadly thats becoming a big trend and disney just stepped it up a notch...they are releasing the dvd of Pirates 4 almost a month AFTER the blu-ray release. i can so see studios start doing that regularly.
Wow, that's the first I heard about the Pirates DVD delay, though I can't say I'm surprised. When DVD first started taking off, studios started delaying the VHS releases for purchase (they were still available for rental).

Looks to me like the consumer choice" is really just a which side will you shoose to display, which is kind of funny, since many people's collections show spine out.
yup, hope that this is the case: that it will be a double sided cover with hopefully a digipack inside!
I absolutely loved this film, one of the best of the year so far. Matthew Vaughn can do no wrong in my book.

But I think I'll be saving my money for both "Super 8" and "Pirates of the Caribbean 4," but it is very nice to see them both hitting shelves a few days apart from one another.
However, I mentioned not wanting to own "Thor," I will probably skip the Blu-Ray release for this one as well.
