It looked a lot funnier than it actually was.
Yeah, this movie was a mess. Rent it if you're a fan of the cast.
thanx for the heads up guys!
Yeh I wanted to like this but it's dull and lifeless and tries too hard. I really didn't laugh at all. I like the cast, pineapple express was great but I don't know what happened here, either way it wasn't funny. It is a nice cover art for what it's worth. Paul was another comedy this year that really let me down. I guess we have to wait for this summers 3 comedies( bad teacher, horrible bosses, and tue change up) to try to restore some faith in this genre.
This movie...wasn't bad, I guess. Not worth seeking out, but if it's on TV and there is absolutely nothing else on, it can't hurt too much to watch it. It's one of those comedies where jokes are few and far between.
Oh, so now they're only billing the "stars" that matter.
I'll probably rent this one.
It amused me. I might watch it again even though Natalie Portman stole every scene she was in from Franco and McBride.
Really liked this one.
I'll watch anything with Natalie Portman.
James Franco should stop doing comedy. Seriously.
Agreed. Whenever he's in a comedy you can tell he's super-high. Fun fact about people who're high: they're incredibly annoying.

I know right? I mean, what about Zooey Deschanel? I know she matters, and she's the love interest of James Franco in the movie!!

i was really looking forward to this...and it just let me down. everyone's right about natalie portman stealing every scene. seriously...has she ever NOT looked beautiful??? but i disagree with james franco being annoying in this. to me...and it's why i thought it was a let down...danny mcbride was the albatross. i don't think he should be headlining things...with the exception of eastbound & down. in small doses he's awesome...but this was just too much danny. i also disagree that people who are high/potheads are annoying. i don't think that's a rule as much as it is an exception. some of the funniest comedians "dabble."
A medium-budget, confused, action flick with big stars and tiny laughs. Doesn't know if it wants to parody the action films or be one.
