Genius Products has announced DVD and Blu-ray releases of Zack and Miri Make a Porno which stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. Each will be available to own from the 3rd February. Extra material will include a full length documentary, deleted and extended scenes, all of the “Money Shots” promo videos, and a blooper reel. Loved this movie, but that art is terrible.
Should be packed full of extras. Smith always does the DVD releases for his films right in that department.

Don't be fooled by the crude humor, which is HILARIOUS, but Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogen deliver excellent and heartfelt performances! If Tropic Thunder can get acting nominations at the Golden Globes, then this one should've gotten nominated for acting as well!

This movie was awesome! Would prefer the theatrical poster (the one that was banned from theatres), but the artwork is OK. Not entirely sure why Jason Mewes is wearing a thong....

You're half-right. I do recall being double-dipped on "Clerks", "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy" and "Dogma" from bare-bones to super-special editions. The only Smith films to be released on DVD packed with extras the first time around were "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" and to a lesser extent, "Clerks II".

Actually, there's only been one release of Chasing Amy that I know of, the 10th anniversary edition never materialized for some reason. And I wouldn't call the first editions of Clerks and Mallrats "bare-bones" per se, they were actually fairly nice editions with plenty of extras each. Only the initial Dogma release qualifies as "bare-bones".

One of the best comedies of last year & easily Kevin Smith's best film! I'll get this for sure!
One of my favorite comedies from 2008. Glad it's coming out so soon, will definitely be buying.

CROWDED cover art. As to oppose is "only" called "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" rather than having the entire porn cast in the cover. They would have used the stick figure cover.

I like the cover art. Do people "get" it?
The cover art reminds me of those stupid spoof movies that get released every year. As for the movie itself, I thought it was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will for sure be picking it up.
Weird cover art - but Banks looks great on it - so it balances out.
I find it a little odd that Smith's name isn't featured on the cover. I mean, I checked and it's absent from most of his films' DVD covers, but somehow its absence here seems more conspicuous. Then again, I suppose the alternative is the Jersey Girl cover...
