Good movie.
Awesome movie, I hate critic quotes on covers.

I don't mind the artwork featuring the actors vs. a more zombie themed cover. In fact, this cover is appropriate to the story. I just wish the spine didn't have their faces, so when I look at my collection they're staring out at me. Just some more nitpicking. Could have gone down a stereotypical zombie movie path but didn't. Fun Movie!
One of the great movies of 2009. "Zombieland", for me, was more comedy than thrills. I laughed more in this movie than I did at "G.I. Joe". Definite day one blu-ray purchase. As for Transformers 2 & GI Joe, the only awards they should win are Razzies. They should not be nominated for a f::king thing come Oscar time. I can see it now, if Transformers gets nominated for an Oscar & then actually wins for best visuals, Paramount will re-release the DVD & Blu-ray with the words "Oscar Winner", or "The Oscar winning "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen". If that happens humanity takes 10 steps closer to Hell.

I loved this film (even the bill Murray part). Can't wait to see it again.
Fantastic film.
Now release it here.

Oh ya, i forgot about Avatar. I haven't seen District 9 yet. I hear it is very good. I'll probably rent that first though. Some of my friends didn't really like it.
Ya, this probably won't go for any oscars. Probably MTV Movie Awards or something like that.

I'll bite! Of course it's a comedy/horror. They didn't market it any other way. Why would you think otherwise?

My dad thought some o the stuff in it was pretty nasty. I'm not sure this is the movie for oscars, maybe best visual effects, but that would be facing strong competition with 2012, Transformers 2, and maybe Terminator Salvation. But again, this is a great movie. Never saw Shaun of the Dead, i would love to though.
Those 3 movies will definitly not be the visual effects nominees. It will be District 9, Star Trek, and Avatar.
Awesome film. Love Bill Murray's cameo. One of the best cameos ever.
Bummed I missed this. I heard it's pretty good. Great cover art.
I wonder if this is gonna get an "Unrated" cut.
Definite rental for me. I did enjoy it quite a bit, but i see it getting kinda old after a while. If i like it after i rent it i MAY buy it. Really good flick but not sure if its a purchase. It gets a little long in its last half
A total friggin' blast and I will buy this on Blu-ray on release day.
And FYI to the filmmakers: 'Anaconda' is rated 'PG-13,' not 'R' as Emma Stone says. Stupid little nit-pick, I know...

Lame quote, but it was a funny movie. Too bad they couldn't do the Patrick Swayze cameo they talked about, it woulda been much much better than Murray's.
As much as I liked the girls, I'm with the guy who wanted them to be killed (up until they redeemed themselves of course) cuz they were pissing me off too.

Will be getting the blu release!
Awesome movie, I despise the quote on the bottom very much!! Nothing like Superbad, although it is a bit similar to SotD it is still keeps itself very much different!
I'd say its more of movie version of Left 4 Dead.
Oooh.

LOL. anybody!! i don't care if it's zombies or Woody or the other guy (i forget his name)...but SOMEBODY kill them! lol.
i know it's just a movie but the fact the older sister brought her lil sis to an amusement park, AT NIGHT and TURNED THE LIGHTS ON/MUSIC TO THE PARK ON and then STARTED GOING ON THE RIDES (without anyone running them, i might add!!!) when the world is (supposed to be) THE most dangerous and scary place now that it's overrun with zombies.....
Well, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the film. Albeit, I don't quite understand how you can dislike Emma Stone or Abigail Breslin. They were pretty good in this movie. Sure, they won't win Oscars, but compared to bad acting in films like Friday the 13th (which I thought was an okay movie), it was a refreshment. I'm also surprised you don't like Bill Murray. He's like super awesome! Ghostbusters still remains one of my favorite movies of all time. Also when you mentioned how you got mad when Witchita (Stone) brought her sister to the amusement park Little Rock (Breslin), I thought she was just doing a nice gesture. After all, her little sister had to deal with so much, I thought it was sweet how they cared for each other. I'm just really surprised you didn't like it. Even the critics loved this movie. I guess to each their own. It's kind of surprising because you thought MBV and F13 were good, while I did. We practically share the same movie interests.

I'd also bet that the Jesse Eisenberg character was written with Michael Cera in mind. But we didn't lose much as Eisenberg is a fine actor with more range than Cera (check "The Squid and the Whale" ). And, as in "Superbad", we get the lead character (Eisenberg, not Harrelson), who starts as a anxiety-ridden teenager then learns the value of getting loose and having fun, getting rid of his huge super-ego. I loved the scenes of artistic destruction, something I get very rarely in a comedy. Eisenberg on a motorcycle wasn't too shabby either.
The actual killing quote is "The Funniest Comedy since 'The Hangover'". And "The Hangover" was released in June, four months earlier!

This movie was funny as hell. Even more hilarious then The proposal (which I thought was still pretty good). I also thought the zombie kills were awesome and I loved the gratuitous blood splatter. I loved every second of the film. Even the opening credits are inspiring. Will buy on day one. I loved this movie.
Great movie but couldn't of they made a better cover?

I saw this at Fantastic Fest with the cast and director there (minus Breslin). It was a very fun experience. This movie spends its entire run time trying to make the audience happy, and it succeeds wonderfully. Day 1 for me.

I'm clueless about why you even brought up the word 'Oscars' with this movie, or even mention the 'visual effects.'
This movie obviously has no desire to win any awards other than being a fun, mindless zombie film. And I'm pretty sure 90% of the gore in this movie is practical, not CGI.

i enjoyed this film alot, funny, i heard they are gonna make a sequel
Hope this one will be region free (ABC) !

Great cover, i've been waiting for this to come out.
I quite liked the slightly greyed one sheet image of the characters, wonder why they've got them de-saturated for that. Anywhos, must buy, one of the best of the year, no contest.
Nice. I was waiting for this one.
Emma Stone. Drool. Stupid bloody quote though. It's nothing like Superbad or Shaun of the Dead.
