Username The username is a nickname, it is displayed next to your contributions. It must be unique (no other member uses it), it is not case-sensitive ("Dave" is the same as "dave") and it should be fairly short (between 3 and 12 characters). If your requested username is already taken or not suitable then you will be asked to try a different username. Once a member, the username cannot be changed, so choose wisely.
Password The password is used by registered members to log into the website. It should be difficult to guess but memorable. We suggest entering a password that contains numbers as well as uppercase and lowercase letters - since it is case-sensitive. To prevent human error, please repeat the password in the second box. The password should be between 6 and 255 characters long.
Email Address If you forget your login details then this email address will be used to send your username and password details. This email address will not be used by our website in general use unless you opt into the various email features offered. Email addresses, like usernames must be unique and are not case-sensitive.
After registration is complete you will be sent a confirmation email, if you do not follow the instructions contained within the email then your member account will not be activated. If you use Yahoo! or other similar web based email services then you may have to search for the message within bulk email folders.
Date Of Birth For legal reasons we ask that you enter a valid date of birth. Doing so will provide valuable information that is needed by the website to determine the level of communication and access you should have to our service. Your date of birth will not be displayed to the public unless specifically set via the profile page.

Newsletter The newsletter is an email based information source that is sent out on a weekly basis. Newsletters are available in two formats, either HTML or text. HTML looks more appealing but if you use very old email software then we recommend text.
